A man was hospitalized after a fire at a three-story condo in Dallas Thursday, officials say. Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were called to the 3900 block of Buena Vista Street shortly before 2 p.m. because of a fire at a three-story condo, according to a press release.
Dallas Fire-Rescue used specialized foam to battle an early-morning fire at an Oncor electrical substation in South Dallas. No power outages were reported.

Keith Estes, 77, was found inside the apartment complex in the 9900 block of Whitehurst Drive on New Year’s Eve, according to the Dallas County medical examiner’s office. Firefighters did not receive a missing report for Estes, who lived alone, according to Jason Evans, a DFR spokesperson.
