While protests happened at the ICE facility in South Portland, a vigil was held in East Portland about 10 miles away at Adventist Health, the location of the shooting involving federal agents on Thursday.
Six people were arrested in downtown Portland late Friday night after an hour-long demonstration outside the hotels protestors suspect are hosting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents deployed to the city under “Operation Catch of the Day.”
