An 18-year-old faces vehicular manslaughter charges after a late-night "rolling" prank turns deadly in a Gainesville neighborhood, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office says.

"This would be counter to Jason’s lifelong dedication of investing in the lives of these children," Jason Hughes' family said.

Authorities say the teacher was run over after confronting a group of young people who threw toilet paper on his trees.
