The incident happened Wednesday, July 8, at the Extended Stay hotel on Poplar Avenue.

Since January, the task force has helped seize nearly 150 illegally possessed firearms and make more than 120 arrests.

Oklahoma officials seized 30,000 marijuana plants and arrested one person during raids on five illegal grow sites in Woodward.

At this time, law enforcement has not closed nearby streets; however, the hotel entrance is blocked. Officials have not said whether anyone was injured.

The task force uses law enforcement officers, analysts and detectives from several agencies across the state to combat gun violence.
