Did you know Morden Hall Park NT rose garden is an unusual example of an inter-war rose garden created by the last owner Gilliat Hatfeild around 1921, with a design ahead of it's time? Mr. Hatfeild was passionate about giving local children access to nature. He hosted annual parties in the grounds for local school children and their families until his death in 1941.
