0z GFS MODEL NOW CLOSEST TO MY FORECAST… Quick 11pm update — and I can’t believe I’m actually saying this — but the new 0z GFS run is the closest it has come to my going forecast. The model has corrected south and east a tad with the accumulating snow zone, backing off its previously over-amplified look. It has also toned down those unrealistic double-digit totals. My thinking remains the same: a general 3–6" for areas north and west of I-287, with an enhanced 6" zone likely over western Orange
