Meet female silver fox, Stevie. A silver fox is the melanistic form of a red fox (Vulpes vulpes), displaying fur in various shades of gray and black in comparison to the red fox's reddish-brown coat. Silver foxes can be found right here in Ohio and throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere across the globe, and has been introduced in Australia. Stevie is new to Jack Hanna’s Animal Encounters Village and is estimated to be just under a year old. Last week, Stevie experienced her first snow ever!
