One of the easiest ways to learn about your new sewing machine is to create a stitch sampler. Sew all the different stitches in multiple lengths and widths, record each setting, and keep them together by your machine. Next time you want to use something other than a straight stitch, reference your sampler to find the best stitch for your project. We've made ours a little more fun by using a variegated thread!
