Live video of Arcturus (out of focus) Arcturus is a relatively close red giant star in the constellation Boötes. When low on the horizon, Earth's atmosphere refracts the starlight causing it to flash all of the colors of the rainbow. I set it out of focus so it could be seen better on camera, but this can easily be seen with the naked eye.
