During the 15th century, the Inca empire was in all its splendor. In gratitude to that power, every year the #IntiRaymi, a celebration in honor of the Apu Inti or Sun God, was held. Up to 50,000 people from all over the country came to Cusco, the capital of Tahuantinsuyo, to participate in this festivity.
