TURP is a procedure where the resectoscope is inserted through the male’s urethra where prostate tissue is and a monoloop cuts the prostate tissue and cauterize the area at the same time. The reason why older men undergo to this type of procedure is because this patient might have a benign prostatic hyperplasia
