What’s believed to be a 12-inch main water line burst at the corner of 2nd Street & Yakima Ave on rainy Thanksgiving night 11/27/25, flooding portions of the roadway and nearby businesses. Water made its way into the Chase Bank lobby and Hotel Maison lobby before crews arrived. The streets and sidewalks nearby are now left with mud, dirt and sediment. By the time I got on scene around midnight, city crews had already cleared most of the water and were assessing the damage. One of the head crew m
