The City of Plattsburgh, New York is preparing for battle. It’s gearing up for its biggest attraction of the year, the The Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration, which remembers the historic naval battle during the War of 1812 that kept the British from advancing down Lake Champlain. Along with the parade, there will be live music, military bands and reenactments.
