If gender is binary, and solely based on anatomy, why even use it? Why not just use male and female… because biological sex is private, and gender is public. Gender identity is a constitutional right. Not only does a binary system exclude 2% of the population who are intersex, but also discredits anyone else’s interpretation of the social construct… which goes against the definition of a social construct. We accept people’s different interpretations for all other social constructs, why would gen
