Every year I try to participate in the Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest at the Arkansas Valley Fair in Rocky Ford. This year, I spit a seed more than 17 feet. Next year, I'm going for more than 20. I enjoyed chatting about important issues with constituents from around the Arkansas Valley at the fair this weekend, and I'll be picking up some watermelon at the store to start practicing for next year! | Rep.
